Farinazzo finished Arrowhead 135 and became the champion of BAD135

Marco Farinazzo arrived safe in Fortune's Casino Bay, after 57h48min. His struggling with the elements will only leave permanent marks in his character, not in his body. He told me this was THE toughest race of ever and he never suffered in a race like he suffered in Arrowhead. Its not good for anybody run at -20F (-30C) but for brazilians is specially brutal. I ran the last 5k with him and TJ (Samoan runner) and they told me their cold stories about the 2nd night and the afraid to die or lose some parts of their bodies. TJ actually was hospitalized with frostbite but its ok now.

I hoped to do best than I did in 2007 (my 1st attempt) and I did. Ran almost 70km in cold weather is a race of itself. I am glad to come back home in one piece and make my plans for the next year. Hope to see everybody here again for the Arrowhead 2011. It was a great experience.
